Diare Dermatology

PRP is Platelet Rich Plasma. It is used in cosmetic dermatology to help promote hair growth and to help with skin or vaginal rejuvenation. Blood is collected, spun in a centrifuge and the “liquid gold” produced is called PRP. The “liquid gold” which contains multiple growth factors is then injected back into the scalp, face or vagina.

PRP can
• Reduce wrinkles
• Plump up sagging skin
• Helps with collagen production
• Get rid of deep creases
• Improve one’s complexion
• Diminish acne scars
• Diminish Dark Circles underneath the eyes
• Promote Hair Growth
• Vaginal Rejuvenation

Diare Dermatology uses the ECLISPE SYSTEM. The 22ML vial is used ONLY for Hair Restoration . The 22ML vial has a higher concentration of platelets needed for the promotion of hair growth. The 11ML vial is used for facial and vaginal rejuvenation.

  1. Blood drawn: You will have a small amount of blood drawn from your vein. The blood will enter the test tube. Make sure you are hydrated before your appointment.
  2. Blood taken to lab: The test tube containing your blood is placed in a medical device called a centrifuge, which separates your blood into layers. One of these layers contains a high concentration of platelets.
  3. Blood injected: Your provider will inject the blood that contains the high concentration of platelets into your face or scalp, using a syringe or a Micro-needling device such as, SKINPEN.

The entire procedure takes about 30 minutes to an hour. There’s little to no downtime.

Is PRP safe?

After the injection of PRP, you may have a bit of pain, bruising, and swelling afterwards. This tends to go away within a few days.

How long does it take to see results?

If you get results, the full effects appear within a few weeks to months.

How many PRP injections do you need?

For the best results 4 or more treatments are needed dependent on which area of the body is being treated.

Who can have PRP rejuvenation?

While PRP is considered safe for most people, it’s not recommended for anyone who has one of the following medical conditions:

• Hepatitis C
• Any type of cancer
• Cardiovascular disease, which requires taking a blood thinner
• Skin cancer in the area to be treated

These conditions affect your platelets, making them unable to deliver the expected results.

How much does it cost?

Because PRP is given to improve a person’s appearance, this procedure is not covered by medical insurance. In the United States, it’s estimated cost of each treatment session can range from $250 to $1,500 per treatment. Diare Dermatology charges $500.00 per vial for 22ml and $300 per vial for 11ml.
