juVA

Many women suffer in silence when it comes to talking about sexual problems. Menopause, child-birth and even the natural ageing process can result in a loss of sensation, decreased sexual enjoyment and functional issues in the vaginal region. juVA is a non-surgical technique which involves Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) being injected into the vagina in order to rejuvenate and enhance sexual pleasure. juVA may also relieve conditions such as stress urinary incontinence.

How does the treatment work?

The procedure works by using the body’s natural ability to heal and rejuvenate itself by injecting growth factor rich Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) into the vagina to stimulate a regenerative process. This plasma contains cell-regenerating growth factors, which, when injected into the vagina, triggers stem cells to grow healthier vaginal tissue.

What happens during the juVA procedure?

Following a thorough consultation and explanation, a topical anesthetic or ice is applied to the vagina. Blood is then taken from the patient and is placed in a centrifuge, where it is spun precisely to remove the red cells to leave concentrated Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP is then injected into the clitoris and vaginal wall. It can then be injected into labia, to revive sagging labial skin and rejuvenate its appearance.

Am I suitable for this treatment?

The juVA procedure may help with
• Tightening of the vaginal opening
• Decreasing painful intercourse
• Creating stronger and more frequent orgasms
• Increasing vaginal lubrication
• Decreasing stress incontinence
• Treating Vulvar Lichen Sclerosus

Does it hurt?

As a non-surgical solution, there is minimal pain and discomfort associated with our juVA treatment with some patients reporting no pain at all.

Is there any downtime/recovery time?

One of the big advantages of the juVA treatment is that you can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment. Sexual intercourse can resume 2 days after.

What kind of results can I expect?

Patients who have undergone the juVA procedure have reported:
• Greater arousal from clitoral stimulation.
• Younger, smoother skin of the vulva (lips of the vagina).
• A tighter introitus (vaginal opening).
• Stronger orgasm.
• More frequent orgasm.
• Increased sexual desire.
• Increased ability to have a vaginal orgasm.
• Decreased pain for those with dyspareunia (painful intercourse).
• Increased natural lubrication.
• Decreased urinary incontinence

What is the difference between the O shot and juVA?

Absolutely nothing. We decided to create our own name due to patent restrictions.

How long will the treatment last?

For most women, the results of the treatment may last for up to 12 months. But this can vary with each individual. It is best to repeat the procedure once a year if results start to fade. If you are considering this, a full consultation will be needed, to make sure the PRP treatment continues to be the best and most suitable treatment for you.
